Stacey Solomon recreates Diet Coke commercial as she passes out in front of a guy at the pool
Stacey Solomon got more than she bargained for when she finally commissioned her outdoor pool for the summer.
The mother-of-four has been regularly documenting renovations to her stunning £1.2million Pickle Cottage since moving into her Essex home in March 2021.
Stacey, 32, was teased as she got to work on her scenic pool, where she was greeted by an attractive pool guy.
Posting to her Instagram story, the Loose Women panelist filmed the maintenance man jokingly recreating the Diet Coke ad.
In the video, Stacey can be seen handing the pool guy a can of Diet Coke as Etta James’ 1960 hit “I Just Wanna Make Love To You” plays above, as do the iconic Coca-Cola advertisements, with the caption: “The pool guy is here, getting us all ready. You’re welcome.”
He takes the joke well, laughing as the former X Factor finalist hands him the can before getting back to work on his pool.
The pool isn’t the only major renovation at Pickle Cottage as Stacey and her fiancé Joe Swash, 40, prepare to tie the knot at their beautiful home.
The couple are set to tie the knot this summer after postponing their big day after Stacey fell pregnant with daughter Rose.
The beautiful sprawling gardens, which cover 2.5 acres, will provide the scenic venues as they plan to use the long pergola as an outdoor wedding walkway. The couple managed to obtain a license for the venue to host the wedding.
Joe accidentally revealed they were to get married on July 25 while live on TV, which Stacey didn’t go over well.
During a special episode of Loose Women, Eamonn Holmes asked Joe, “Can you tell when it’s happening, your wedding?”
To which Joe replied, “Stacey are we allowed to say? I never know.”
Stacey said: “‘You wouldn’t know the date even if you were allowed to say it.’
Joe said, “The date is the last Sunday in July.”
Exasperated, Stacey said, “Oh my god, why did I bring you here? Fantastic. Good thing.”
