Sassuolo could replace Inter Target Giacomo Rapadori with Lorenzo Lucca from Pisa, Italian media say
Inter could move closer to Sassuolo’s long-term goal Giacomo Raspadori as the Neroverdi have identified young Pisa striker Lorenzo Lucca as his replacement.
This according to the Italian media FCInterNews, who report that the two young forwards could be involved in a chain of transfers over the summer, with Sassuolo now seeing Lucca as their preferred target to replace Raspadori.
Raspadori has been a target for Inter for some time, with the 21-year-old having been linked with the club in the summer before finally moving on to other targets.
Lucca has also become a target for the Nerazzurri in recent weeks with his Serie B form where he has scored six goals in seven appearances, which has caught the attention of several top Italian clubs.
However, it could be Sassuolo who will move for the Pisa man, who joined his current club Palermo in the summer, which could free Raspadori to move to Inter.
The Nerazzurri will likely return for Raspadori next summer, unless Alexis Sanchez leaves in the January transfer window, in which case they could move for him even earlier, and now it looks like Sassuolo has a replacement.
