Rita Ora has reportedly landed a £5m deal as the new face of Prada.

The Italian luxury fashion house has a long history of partnering with celebrities and recently announced that Tom Holland will be the face of its Spring/Summer 2022 menswear campaign.

Now Rita, 31, is set to become the latest star to work with the brand after years of attending their fashion shows and showing her love for the fashion house online.

A source told The Sun: “Fashion bosses think Rita is the perfect fit to keep their brand bold. She is a global superstar and straddles the worlds of music, film and television. Rita’s look is iconic.

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Rita and a Prada spokesperson for comment.

Rita has her own clothing line Rora Republic and has previously run campaigns with cosmetics company Rimmel and sportswear company Adidas.

Speaking to Vogue Arabia recently about her sense of style, Rita said, “I was inspired a lot by Cher, Madonna and Tina Turner. All three are the absolute queens of reinvention.

“Their evolution as artists constantly inspires me to take risks with music, fashion and performing.”

Meanwhile, Rita has been spending time in the recording studio during the production process for her upcoming third album.

She confirmed she was working on a third album during a 2019 interview with Marie Claire.

The performer has already released his first album, titled Ora, in 2012, and it has been met with generally positive reviews.

Her second full album, Phoenix, was released to her fans in 2018, and it also received warm critical acclaim.
