Reliance brands team up with Italian company Maison Valentino

Reliance Brands Ltd (RBL) has signed a long-term distribution agreement with Maison Valentino to launch the famous Italian Couture House in India. RBL will open the first Valentino boutique in Delhi, followed by a flagship store in Mumbai, a joint statement said on Thursday.

“The first store is expected to open in 2022 by the end of summer, followed by the flagship store in Mumbai in the coming months. ” he added.

The new long-term distribution agreement will enable brand presence through a renewed store concept. The experiential design will provide customers with an all-encompassing experience and a tailored customer experiential journey, as per the statement.

RBL MD Darshan Mehta says Valentino needs no introduction in India.

Founded by legendary Italian fashion designer Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti, Valentino has seen an impactful creative evolution under current Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli and CEO Jacopo Venturini, heralding the brand as Italy’s most established fashion house. , Mehta said.

The brand is currently present in more than 144 locations through 212 directly operated Valentino boutiques and more than 1,300 points of sale.

RBL is a subsidiary of Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd, the retail arm of billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Group.

RBL began operations in 2007 with a mandate to launch and grow global brands in the luxury to premium segments in fashion and lifestyle. The strategic repositioning is the biggest investment in the Aston Martin brand in more than a decade and strengthens its position at the top of the ultra-luxury performance segment, the company said.
