Italian media report that Inter forwards Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez will start against Udinese, ahead of Andrea Pinamonti
Inter coach Antonio Conte is expected to continue with first-choice strikers Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez against Udinese today, despite pressure from Andrea Pinamonti for a place.
The Nerazzurri welcome the Zebrette to Stadio Giuseppe Meazza this afternoon for their last game of a successful season, in which they won a first Scudetto since 2010.
As reported in today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport, Conte will be making many changes to the starting lineup which fell to a 3-2 loss to Juventus last time around, but Pinamonti will be on the bench.
Martinez was in line to start alongside the 21-year-old but will now be joined by Lukaku as the Belgian seeks his 30th goal of the season in all competitions.
Elsewhere, Matias Vecino, Roberto Gagliardini and Stefano Sensi form a new midfielder, while Ashley Young takes on the role of left-back against Achraf Hakimi.
Conte will also change his defense and give starts to Andrea Ranocchia and Danilo D’Ambrosio, in what could be their last games before their respective contracts expire this summer. The duo will be joined at the back by Alessandro Bastoni, ahead of goalkeeper Samir Handanovic.
The coach has a choice between an almost complete squad, with Aleksandar Kolarov the only one out due to injury, while Marcelo Brozovic and Matteo Darmian are serving suspensions.
