New Inter manager Simone Inzaghi and summer rookie Hakan Calhanoglu already seem to have a good understanding with each other, and the club are enjoying it on the pitch.

This according to today’s print edition of the Milanese newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, which reports that the midfielder has been given a role that matches his natural characteristics, and that this allows him to strongly affect the game. .

Calhanoglu was recruited as a free agent after his contract with city rivals AC Milan expired, and the 27-year-old’s decision was partly based on the persuasion of Inzaghi, who wanted as part of his new Inter project and personally called the midfielder to explain his vision.
