Inter’s Joaquin Correa slammed for performance against Bologna ahead of injury by Italian media
Inter striker Joaquin Correa has been criticized for the quality of his performance in yesterday’s win over Bologna at San Siro before needing to be injured.
In player ratings for the Serie A clash in today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper La Repubblica, the Argentine received a score of 6/10, among the lowest among Nerazzurri players.
Inter had a good evening against Sinisa Mihajlovic’s Rossoblu side, picking up an outright 6-1 victory to get back on track after the disappointment against Real Madrid in midweek, but Correa didn’t appreciate his evening.
The 27-year-old had to leave the pitch following a collision with Bologna defender Lorenzo Di Silvestri, but even his performance before that did not see him at his best, earning him the same rating as Aleksandar Kolarov, Roberto Gagliardini and Andrea Ranocchia.
Meanwhile, ratings of 6.5 / 10 were given to Stefan de Vrij, Alessandro Bastoni, Alexis Sanchez and Samir Handanovic, while Milan Skriniar, Federico Dimarco, Denzel Dumfries, Matias Vecino, Marcelo Brozovic and Nicolo Barella all have received marks of 7/10.
The highest player ratings, 7.5 / 10, went to Lautaro Martinez and Denzel Dumfries, while coach Simone Inzaghi received a rating of 8/1 for his approach.
