Inter have € 15m to spend in January transfer window, Italian media report says
Inter are said to have up to € 15million available to spend on new signings during the January transfer market.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, which reports that the club are planning to enter the transfer market next month and that their priorities would be a striker or a midfielder.
A player is likely to leave the club before Inter move for further additions to the squad, but Alexis Sanchez and Matias Vecino have the option to leave in January.
The Nerazzurri could look to add a forward to the attacking options already at the club if Sanchez, with River Plate’s Julian Alvarez, and Sassuolo’s pair Giacomo Raspadori and Gianluca Scamacca their main targets.
Scamacca in particular is a player Inter would consider bringing in, although the Neroverdi estimate the 22-year-old at around € 40m, so a formula would have to be found that would see the Nerazzurri spend no more than € 15m. euros at the start.
Meanwhile, another Sassuolo player in the form of midfielder Davide Frattesi is also a target for the Nerazurri, who reportedly consider offering a player more money to trade to convince the Nervoerdi.
Finally, Spezia captain Giulio Maggiore is another midfield target for Inter, and the Ligurian club would likely be ready to part ways with him for less than € 20million.
