Inter are unlikely to move for Lazio’s Luis Alberto in January, but could next summer, Italian media say

Lazio midfielder Luis Alberto is a player of interest for Inter, but he’s unlikely to move for him in the January transfer window.

This according to the Italian media FCInterNews, who reports that the Nerazzurri could switch to the Spaniard next summer, with the player looking increasingly unstable in the Italian capital.

Alberto started on the bench for the Biancocelesti’s last three games, against Inter, Marseille and Verona, and he appeared unhappy with his situation under coach Maurizio Sarri.

The 29-year-old could push for an exit, as he had done this summer when he failed to show up at preseason training camp before eventually staying at the club, albeit a destination is not clear.

AC Milan had approached the Biancocelesti about the midfielder this summer, securing a € 40million demand for his signing in response, and the Rossoneri could move for him again.

Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri are also said to be on the lookout for Alberto, as head coach Simone Inzaghi enjoyed a good relationship with the Spain midfielder during their time in Rome.

Inter signed Hakan Calhanoglu from AC Milan over the summer as they looked to replace stricken Christian Eriksen. system.

Therefore, a January move for Alberto would be highly unlikely despite his situation, but the situation could change next summer if he was still available.
