Gemma Collins to replace Gary Lineker as she is set to become the new face of Walkers Crisps
Reality TV star Gemma Collins has reportedly signed a lucrative deal to be the face of potato chip brand Walkers. The former TOWIE star, 40, will follow in the footsteps of sports commentator and ex-footballer Gary Lineker, the face of British constructors since 1995 reports Birmingham Live.
“Gemma is so sought after by companies because she’s both glamorous and down-to-earth, and people seem to really connect with her,” a source told the Sun newspaper. “It’s a perfect combination for big brands that need to appeal to a mass market – just like Gary has been doing for over two decades.
The source added: “The ads are guaranteed to be a hilarious take on The GC’s big personality – and she’s an avowed fan of handbags.”
